Here's 20 more photos of Route 895 under construction, taken in March, 2002.

Photo #1 shows the west abutment and west approach to the Route 895 James River Bridge. Photos #2 and #3 show I-95 heading northbound, approaching the Route 895 James River Bridge approach spans over I-95.

Photos #4, #5 and #6 show different views of Ramp E, which is the mostly elevated ramp from I-95 northbound to Route 895 eastbound.

Photo #7 shows the main span of Route 895 James River Bridge; the vantage point is from the ramp from VA-150 Chippenham Parkway to I-95 northbound. Photos #8 and #9 show the main span of Route 895 James River Bridge; the vantage point is from the I-95 southbound shoulder, looking eastward toward construction of the main span.

Photo #10 shows details of the toll collection related signs for westbound traffic approaching the mainline toll plaza. Photos #11, #12, and #13 show the view from the Osborne Turnpike overpass bridge, looking west onto Route 895.
