The overpass in the distance is relocated Battlefield Boulevard, and just beyond that is the point where the new expressway joins into the Great Bridge Bypass as one seamless expressway, and the Hanbury Road interchange is just beyond that.

Southbound on the Chesapeake Expressway, approaching the toll plaza. The inside lane is for "SMART TAG ONLY" as the lighted sign overhead says, and Smart Tag users can pass through it at up to 45 mph without stopping. Modern toll roads in the world are now being built with electronic toll collection where a user can obtain a transponder that deducts money from the user's toll account each time they use the toll road. Manual and automatic toll lanes are also available to the right.
